What the project delivered

Performance

No more WordPress or plugins: pages are generated by lean PHP code with no superfluous layers.
Robustness

All WordPress content migrated through a repeatable import; old URLs are redirected and checked automatically.
Security

No plugins to monitor and no WordPress vulnerabilities to patch; a back office restricted to one or two administrators.
Scalability

The bibliography, its indexes and its PDF rebuild themselves; framework-free code any PHP developer can read.
