Numerikissimo
Directory of the leading players in French tech: application process, review by a committee, members-only directory and events.
What the project delivered
-
Performance
Without WordPress and its stack of plugins, directory pages load without delay.
-
Robustness
Applications, committee review and the directory are custom-built rather than assembled from plugins.
-
Security
No WordPress plugins to maintain; the directory and member area are restricted to authorised people.
-
Scalability
Custom, documented code: events, sponsors or new sections can be added without depending on a plugin.
